We were disappointed with our campsite. It was just a big parking lot with hookups. And the parking lot was up against the main road. It didn’t feel very safe for myself and 3 kids. And the bathroom facilities were nearly a 1/4 mile away. They also never told me when check out was, so that was confusing. It is conveniently located VERY close to the caverns, but not much else to say about it.

Full hookups RV Park 7 miles from Carlsbad Caverns & 30 minute drive from Guadalupe Mountains. We stayed in Site 4. Yes, the sites are close, the lot is gravel (but our was level), you are facing your neighbor, you share a covered picnic area with two picnic tables BUT you have full hookups and are 7 miles from Carlsbad Caverns / 30 minutes from Guadalupe mountains. Everyone staying at the time we were here were nice, quiet & here for the proximity to the National Parks. Also the sunset was amazing! If you are a AAA or AARP member you get a discount. For the cost per night it is totally worth it to be so close to these national treasures. As others mentioned, there is a gift shop, small grocery & laundry mat on site. Also, there is a restaurant across the street that is open for breakfast & lunch. Closes at 3PM. There is a bath house on site but it is one room with toilet & shower. It seemed clean enough but definitely no frills. We would certainly stay again for the close proximity to the parks.

Front desk in store attitude was poor for check in. Basic questions met with indifference. Full hook up site. Black water discharge ground pipe came right out of ground?? Web advertising stated restaurant breakfast, lunch, dinner. Doors locked at 2pm when we arrived, and check-in desk says "we dont know" anything about restaurant. So, great spot to boondock for cavern access and to do a load of laundry.q

It was a pretty decent rv park. We got to stay in the P row which was at the very front. Super easy to get in and out and was not a bad place at all. The staff was nice and helpful, the store has some nice souvenirs and some grocery items. Will definitely stay here again when we pass through.

This RV park is conveniently located near Carlsbad Caverns, which made it an easy and practical place to stay while exploring the area. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the park itself was quiet and peaceful. Our site was primarily gravel, but it was well maintained, and we felt the price was fair for what the park offers. Overall, it met our needs well, and we would stay here again if we return to the area.
