We stayed for a week, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! When we first arrived, our fire pit was sitting sideways. We let the staff know, and they rushed over to fix it right away. It was a great first impression of how much they truly care about their guests.
We have a 4-month-old and a 3-year-old, and there was never a shortage of things for our oldest to do. The activities made him feel so special, and it was nice knowing he could stay entertained while we took care of baby brother. We purchased the weekday activity pass, and it was 100% worth every penny. If you’re staying for the week, I highly recommend getting it—we’ll definitely be buying it again next time!
Bubbles and Sarah were absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond, even helping with things that weren’t technically part of their jobs. When an issue happened at the pool, they jumped into action immediately to make sure everything was taken care of. Sarah especially stood out because she remembered both of my boys’ names all week. With 50+ kids participating in activities, that level of personal attention is incredible. The staff here is truly 100/100!
Toward the end of our trip, the weather threatened to ruin some of the fun, but the activity staff didn’t let that happen. They quickly came up with new games and activities so the kids could still have an amazing time despite the rain.
We had so much rain overnight that our campsite, which was at the bottom of a small hill, became extremely muddy. I mentioned it to one of the maintenance staff, Titus, and by the time we got back from an activity, he had already brought in fresh gravel to help with the muddy areas. That kind of customer service is hard to find.
Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better camping trip. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure families had a great time. We 100% recommend Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park in Asheboro, and we can’t wait to come back!

This was our first camping trip in our newly purchased camper. When arriving, Tiffany greeted us and opened the door to the Ranger Station and kindly walked us through everything. She set the tone for the entire trip by making us feel like family and so welcomed immediately.
Once we arrived at our campsite, they were so well maintained and spacious! The entire campground is quiet and beautiful. As a runner, I enjoyed all of the trails and being able to walk and run with the kids around the campground and on the trails. We enjoyed exploring and finding all of the ponds.
My older kiddo loved the activities and all of us, baby to adult, LOVED the playground!
We can’t wait to come back and so thankful to Tiffany for her bear ears and sparkly attitude!

We have been here before and we love coming back every time. The people here are amazing Baylin was a staff member we remember from the first time and he was amazing and made every activity fun. We met some new friends. Bubbles,Colvin, and Trace were amazing with my kiddos. When you have a son with special needs and he can be very wild at times and they are very loving and kind to him it makes vacation very special. Every activity was over the top fun for the children and even as an adult it was a blast. The facility is so clean and just a blast for every age. The highlight of our week was finding the golden gnome and being able to have the huge sign at our campsite. My children love coming to yogi bear and can’t wait to go back every year.

We had such a great stay at Jellystone Park! It truly felt like a classic campground experience with just the right mix of fun and comfort. Our kids had the absolute best time—there was so much for them to do (swimming, fishing, rock collecting, Jellystone activities), they were entertained the entire trip.
We originally booked because of the convenient location near the zoo, but aside from that one outing, we happily stayed on-site for our full 4 days / 3 nights. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the amenities were well-maintained, and the golf cart ended up being a total game changer for getting around.
Pro Tip: Bring bath and pool towels.

My husband and I brought our four young children here (6, 4, 3, and 18 months) and they had the BEST time! We loved that there was a mix of activities for different ages - as an example, one night the 18 month old loved the "goodnight, sleep tight" pajama hayride around 7pm and the older kids had a blast at a glow party hayride later that same night. The creative director, Augusta, has created what seems to be a really great culture with staff who all seem to genuinely enjoy what they do and are great with the kids.
The pool was perfect with the slanted entry for littles and waterslide and deep end for bigger kids, plus some items available for use (for free) like pool noodles etc! We were there for a week and visited the pool every day and the kids absolutely could not get enough.
There happen to be tons of wild rabbits roaming throughout the park which also delighted the kids, we got in the habit of looking for rabbits in some specific spots while walking or riding a golf cart and we saw rabbits every day, usually multiple times a day!
Overall we really loved it and highly recommend!
