What Guests Are Saying
Wilson's Riverfront RV Park offers a prime location near downtown Asheville and the French Broad River, making it ideal for sightseeing and enjoying nature. The concrete sites are spacious, with reliable utilities and good WiFi, and the park is clean with friendly staff. However, it is located next to the highway, resulting in constant traffic noise, and currently lacks a bathhouse, which may deter some visitors.

It is a difficult place to find from GPS directions and it's right by the freeway. That said, it has the best location for access the Asheville and sightseeing. The campground spaces are adequate. We hate road noise so we probably would stay here again. Check-in was easy and the park helped accommodate an Amazon delivery, thus, I appreciate their good service.

We chose this RV park for the location. Near downtown Asheville and along the Greenway. Our site is steps from the French Broad River with lovely views, wildlife and such.
The other side of the park (it's only two sides on one roadway) is just below the highway. Is it sometimes noisy, yes; but we knew that and expected it. There aren't many amenities here, not even a bathhouse as it was lost to the hurricane, but full hookups, responsive service, a great location and a great price made it a win for us.

We were at a site next to the sewage vent. What made it worse was when we went to hook up the sites sewage the smell was so god awful we had to close it up and not connect. The smell significantly impacted our family camping trip and made it difficult to fully enjoy our stay. We understand that issues like this can happen, but we were disappointed that the site was rented in those conditions without any warning. We will not be staying here again. After contacting the campground and requesting a full or partial refund we never received a reply back.

Nice little RV park along the French Broad River conveniently located right off highway 40 and 26. They are about 10 minutes away from the Biltmore Estates. The sites are concrete, wide, and very leveled with full water, sewer and 50 amp hook ups. We had plenty of room with our 40 foot RV. We also enjoyed sitting outside our site watching the wildlife play in the water ….blue birds, river otters, wood ducks, and lots of fish jumping around. The highway noise didn’t bother us as other people have complained about. We were parked on the riverfront so our bedroom is in the back of the RV near the water which probably helped. There is also a long walking path along the riverfront which is a plus for our active family. The park is clean and people are very friendly.

We recently stayed at Wilson’s Riverfront RV Park and overall had a solid experience, earning it a 3-star rating from us.
There are several positives worth noting. The location is very convenient and close to everything in downtown Asheville, which made getting around easy. The sites have concrete pads, the electric hookups appear to be new and reliable, and the WiFi was decent during our stay. One unexpected perk was the number of channels we were able to pick up using an antenna, which was a nice bonus in the evenings.
There are a few drawbacks to be aware of. The park sits right next to the interstate, and the traffic noise is constant and quite loud. There is currently no bathhouse, though to their credit, management was upfront about this on their website due to damage from Hurricane Helene. The entrance and exit can also be a bit tricky to navigate, especially if you’re arriving for the first time.
Overall, it worked well for a short stay of a few nights, and we appreciated the convenient location and updated utilities. That said, for a future trip to Asheville, we would likely explore other options.
