The campground has a ton of things to do, more for smaller kids but still plenty for older as well. The problem is they’ve got about 400 spots and only 200 golf carts so they sell out almost every weekend and you’re not able to bring your own unless you’re handicapped or disabled. We brought our bikes but did not ride once because most of the cabins are on a side of a mountain that is literally straight up ( very steep hills). Not very bike friendly at all so we had to jump in our truck to get around because the campground covers a huge area(first campground that we never got on our bikes). A lot of the roads are one way or golf carts only so I recommend getting a golf cart reserved when you book if they’re sold out I wouldn’t book. The cabin layout was not very ideal. No where to prepare food and very little space with two huge wooden chairs that that awkwardly took up half the kitchen/main area. It did have a screened in porch that we probably hung out there most of the time while we were at the cabin. The loft area didn’t have blinds or curtains in either window and a couple of windows in kitchen area didn’t not have curtains or blinds. My girls used the huge wooden chairs cushions to cover the windows. The main bedroom did not have a door and the only bathroom was in the bedroom. It did ask us to bring linens, but they also didn’t have any bath towels in cabin. That was a first also and we’ve probably stayed in 10 other campgrounds with cabins. They do have a lot to do and they’re obviously very proud of that because they are very expensive and have huge mark ups on items in their camp store. Very thin beach towel 23.00. One roll of toilet paper 3.00. Their very small bundles of wood 10.00. To sum it all up we’re definitely one and done, but if you do go there make sure you can get a golf cart because the campground is huge and very spread out with very steep small mountain terrain that’s impossible to ride bicycles for probably at least 95% of guests.

Been going here for last five years with the family. Just got back from our October trip. Couldnt believe the place wasnt packed. Resort and views are great. My wife is not a camping person but loves the cabins which are newer and well maintained. Staff is great. Park is clean. Love that you can just casually go to playgrounds, jump in the lake, and play mini golf without any hassle. Haunted Trail and coaster were great too. Nice work yall!

My grand kids love yogi bear. The very first year it opened in Bostic NC, it was awesome. The views are breathtaking. However, when we came back this year, there were things in need of repairs. They should have known this!!!! Therefore, have someone dedicated who over seeing those issues and have them repaired promptly, especially for the price you pay to vacation here. For example, a piece of foam padding, in the kids water park, is coming up from the flooring. I told several different employees and no one ever fixed it. They have a bunch of college/high school who blow you off when telling them about the foam. You ask me how did I know they were blowing me off? Because they never asked me to show them where it was coming up. I guess it's going to take a child falling and other children stomping across the child who fell before you are taken serious. coming up in the pool, it was a tripping hazard. I reported it and no one seem to care because it never was fixed.
The children are unable to play on the playground due to there is NO shade!!!! The metal will burn you. Also, there is and never has been enough cushion for the fall zones around the playground equipment. As a former care child center director, the fall zones are not enough to meet state requirements. I guess it is going to take a child becoming injured to fix this problem.
Now, here we are back for the Halloween month. Omg🤦‍♀️, they need a better coordinator to oversee the activities. It's so much to even type on what's wrong with that program but I will give you a few example. Let's just say, they expect kids to wait, 45 minutes, while they are setting up an activity. An activity starts at 2, they don't even start setting up until 10 after. Children do not have a long attention span. Secondly, they are doing the activity while the child watches except when the kids made slime. They handed us the supplies and never were given instructions. I was having to show people around us how to make the slime. Today, cabin check in was at 4pm. The planting of the magic pumpkins
We only come activity was 4 to 5. How do you have time to go throw everything in the cabin and rush to the activity center to participate in the activity?
Let's talk about the cabins. Beautiful view but seeing rat droppings, floor still had food in the floor and the top of the refrigerator with so much food crumbs. Needless to say, I'm very very disappointed. Rat droppings is so gross that I'm having to clean the entire cabin. Rat droppings , I don't they I should say anymore. It speaks volumes for itself!!!!!!' The cabins are NOT cheap!!!!
Well, enough is enough, we are in search for somewhere that takes better pride in doing a great job.

Jellystone was so memorable for our family of 4! We enjoyed every minute from the pool, splash pad, obstacle course, pickleball, golf carts, cabins, mountain coaster, jumping pillows and more!! We are already read to plan the next trip. The staff was nice, the grounds were clean, and the experience was truly 5 star. Our 3 year old and 9 year old had plenty to keep them entertained. We did the newer cabins with the rooftop deck and the views were amazing. We brought in food to cook which was amazing by the fireside.

Our family had a fabulous and memorable time while there over Labor Day weekend….cabin was cute and clean. Loved all of the amenities the park provided. However, I can only give “service” 4 stars because we had been told we did not need to bring toilet tissue since it was provided for renters and we could reach out any time to get extra during our stay. Therefore, we didn’t bring any of our own. I called 3 times requesting some and was assured each time that some would be brought to our cabin….but it never was brought. Next trip we will know better. Thank you for providing a great family atmosphere for all ages to enjoy!
