Black Mountain Campground

Beautiful campground and site! Well maintained, lots of trails right off the camp sites, close to a good swimming hole in the river.

Camp hosts were lovely. We had a reserved site #12 tent camping - it was next to the host - but the first come first serve sites on the river looked wonderful. That being said even in our site we fell asleep to the sounds of the river. Very quiet. No cell service (Verizon) but no complaints I'm camping!

Beautiful location, friendly camp hosts, spacious campsites with good distance between site. The hosts work very hard to keep the facilities super clean. Hot showers, flush toilets...great spot.

Campground Host Bob helped out tremendously when we arrived and the other host and his wife were friendly and helpful as well. The bathrooms were well-maintained, the camping pad was neat and even, the open field was great for our kids, and the overall stay was most pleasant since it is a limited electricity campground. It was wonderful to see campfires instead of neon lights and large-screen TVs.

This is a well run, clean campground with plenty of amenities. Restrooms and showers near campsites are cleaned multiple times daily. Setting near river and in midst of Black Mountains is beautiful. Wood, ice and other items available for purchase. Nearby general store has all the essentials.

The people tat run this place need education. There were no clear instructions and the rules seem to be different for their friends. We were asked to leave for a violation involving leaving out a cooler but there were trash bags hanging pumpkins left out as decorations in multiple sites and the night before one of their friends told them right in front of me even though it was full she needed more nights we were tossed the next day no warning the written violation said second time
