Black Mountain Campground was beautiful and a great experience! The camp sites are a nice size and the facilities are very clean. It is right along the South Toe River and there are plenty of trailheads you can hike right from the campground. You can also get firewood right in the campground. The campground is fairly remote and there is no cell service. We stayed in campsite 23 and would highly recommend!

The Find Outdoors personnel are fantastic. Roger and Diane really care about your experience. The bathrooms are very clean. Trailhead to Mt. Mitchell at the campground which was great for an early start. Plenty of nice 2-5 mi walks right at the campground.
