peaceful location. Would be nice to put bathrooms on the map so you know which campsites are closest. We had people walking by all day and night long to use the restrooms because we didn't know. But it is such a peaceful place to camp. We would absolutely visit again!!!

We stayed in campsite 6 and it was very small. The camp hosts were nice and it was great to have ice and wood on site. The water was brown so definitely bring drinking water. The swimming area was great and we caught a lot of fish. If I stayed again I would not chose a site on the water because the sites in the trees were so much better

Overall, we had a good camping experience. Camped at site 35. The sites were spacious, flat and wooded but our site was closer to others and didn't offer much privacy. The camp sites are not very far off the 2-lane highway that bisects the campground, which can have big trucks and loud motorcycles travelling on it ay all hours. I am sure the loudness varies by site so staying further up the campground or next to the river likely helps.
There is a small trail that starts out of the back of the campground and circles down to the river but you can tell it is not used much. Its an easy hike, good for all ages. The river is the main feature here and offers a lot of activities, swimming, jumping, tubing, fishing, rock climbing, sun bathing on rocks, wading, etc. The water was a bit cold for us to fully enjoy the river all day but we put in a few hours. It would be spot on mid June and into the summer.
The campground was operated by FIND. They seemed to be very present and helpful for camp hosts. They also operated a small supply store with drinks, snacks, ice cream, and tubing supplies.
