Beautiful, secluded getaway! Hosts were awesome, and site was clean and quiet! Only wish there was electricity, but we made do!

The area is gorgeous and the hosts were very nice. Just a heads up- the “riverside” rv spots are right on the road through camp. So I imagine there’s be quite a bit of foot traffic going by those spots in the busy season. Also you can’t see the river from those spots- just hear it.

We stayed for 3 nights in late September and the campground and hosts were awesome. The facilities were clean and showers were hot thankfully because the temperature was in the low 40s overnight and the shower was a great way to warm up in the morning. We heard a little road noise at night and the river but otherwise it was peaceful. The swimming area would be awesome in the warmer months.

The campground was either by the river or on the hill above nestled in the trees. The sites were far enough apart you had privacy and felt you were in the woods. However, the ladies bathrooms were awful because the commodes would hardly flush. There was little water pressure therefore they were always stopped up. Also it was apparent they were not often cleaned which is not acceptable during this time of Covid. Also, for older adults the restrooms were located such that it was a long walk on unpaved paths that were covered in tree roots. Many sites were closed with orange barrels for unknown reasons.

The bathrooms where nasty and there was no toilet paper. We couldn’t find anyone to let know.
