This is a lovely place. It’s natural, functional, and the river is beautiful too. All the staff were nice. All the other campers were quiet and nice. Kids were pulling in trout, so excited. Others were riding rapids. The current was strong for a good workout swimming. Three and four generation families made many of the groups of locals. Hot clean showers. Clean air, clean water.

I had a great time! It was a sweet campsite and I enjoyed the quieter wooded side of the campground. They have done a lot of work on public areas and campsites along the river after Hurricane Helene, and the river is still glorious and great for swimming and just appreciating the natural beauty of the area.

Great campground! The bathrooms were pretty clean, swimming hole is fantastic. It would be helpful if the store was open a bit later.
