Always enjoy the pavilion but there is still some clean up needed from hurricane Helene. Still we are thrilled to have it open after such a devastating storm. Hope they can get the electricity back on sometime this summer…

Really enjoyed campsite 34. There was just enough room for my 25 foot camper. It would be tight to put anything much bigger there. The filters on the water supply needed to be replaced so the water was a little rusty. Luckily I had my hookup filter available to use at the water spigots.

I really appreciated the large pavillion and the 6 picnic benches but i was really disappointed that the pavillion has lights and outlets installed but i was told there has NOT been working electrical in the pavillion for years. It would have been nice to turn the lights on and plug in some food warmers. I also had some older friends who found it hard to walk the rough path to the pavillion with their walkers and canes. Really should have some sort of handicap access if possible to the pavillion for a wheelchair. Also it is posted on the pavillion that u can rent it for half a day. However there is no option for half day rental on the website. So I was forced to pay a full day rental when i only used it for half a day. But otherwise i think it is a wonderful place to host a small gathering.

Nice place, big sites and quiet. Only complaint would be the red colored water from faucets.

Beautiful location we continue to return to over the years. Water is lower than normal at the moment so tubing is not recommended.
