What Guests Are Saying
Cedar Point Campground is praised for its beautiful, spacious sites, friendly hosts, and clean facilities, making it a great choice for camping near Emerald Isle. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, ample shade, and proximity to nature trails and recreational opportunities. While some facilities like the bathhouses need upgrades and there are occasional issues with water temperature and cleanliness, the overall positive experiences and caring staff leave a lasting impression on visitors.

Make sure you visit the potable water, located near the dump station, before you hook up your rig as there is no water hookups at the sites.
Lovely park with nice walking trails and water access.

Beautiful campground. Quiet and manicured.
Many private and wooded sites, well spaced.
My only disappointment was my site was in the middle, only a few feet from the next camper, and no vegetation.
We attended the Air Show at the Marine base.

The campground is laid out very well with ample space for privacy and comfort while still maintaining that campground neighborhood feel. It’s convenient short walk to a great river side trail for exercise that takes you to the rivers banks and a boat landing and small dock to enjoy as you wish. There were osprey nesting and fishing while we were there which I really enjoyed watching. As did many others. We do plan to visit again soon.

Park is always clean. Host always helpful. This is the only park we stay at when we go to Emerald Isle.
