Cedar Point Campground is a beautiful and well-maintained location with spacious, private sites and great facilities, including clean bathrooms and warm showers. Guests appreciate its proximity to beaches and local attractions, along with peaceful walking trails. Some minor issues were noted, such as inconsistent water temperatures and occasional noise from neighboring sites, but overall, visitors express a strong desire to return.

The campground is wonderful and beautiful. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is because of other campers not having control of their dogs. I was walking my dog on lead and pit bull got loose and ran towards me and my dog. The owner had no control of the dog. It was very frightening. The dog got loose one other time as well. Luckily the dog was not in attack mode but more interested to see another dog. You can imagine my fear. But seeing a pit bull running towards you is very unsettling to say the least. I spoke with the rangers and they said they had several complaints and that they were leaving the next day. These campers had 3 dogs which was already a rule infraction. They left the next day. There was another camper with a dog on a 50ft lead tied to a tree. The dog had access to a large field which many other campers used. The dog , big, barked the entire time he was tied up. He lunged after everyone walking in the field. Unfortunately , the campground was in between camp hosts and the rangers were left to patrol and try to keep the peace. The campground was very clean and well maintained. I just wish folks would have better camping etiquette with their dogs.

Though it was too cold to paddle as we had planned our time was still full of fun and fellowship. We enjoyed the clean, grassy sites, and campfire pits. The walking nature trails were just that and enjoyed.
Some of us went to nearby Swansboro to shop the many local shops to include a little grocer that is new since I'd been there. Some of the group went to Hammocks Park to hike. So many things to do within a short distance.

Love the campground but the showers were not kept clean on a regular basis and was out of paper in the restrooms at times.

Beautiful campground, large sites, great trail and clean showers. Our only problem was w/ a pit bull running loose that attacked another person's dog and a large dog on a very long leash that was quite threatening to anybody who accidentally came too close, even just walking on the road by the site.

Clean, compact yet with reasonable privacy. Nice trails. By-in-large quite, lots of dogs at the time. Noisy during day. Nice trails. Easy access to local shopping ad 15 mins to Atlantic beaches.

A very nice setting so close to the beach at an affordable price is a rarity. The campground was well maintained, quiet and close to all that the Emerald Coast has to offer in restaurants, shops and water activities.
