Beautiful campground. Quiet and manicured.
Many private and wooded sites, well spaced.
My only disappointment was my site was in the middle, only a few feet from the next camper, and no vegetation.
We attended the Air Show at the Marine base.

Make sure you visit the potable water, located near the dump station, before you hook up your rig as there is no water hookups at the sites.

Very nice campground, though one of the camp host sites looks like an actual dumping ground. Aren’t camp hosts supposed to keep sites clean and in good condition so visitors know what expectations are?? Also, people NOT leashing their dogs!!! Camp hosts should be addressing this & then getting law enforcement involved! It’s ridiculous! The campground itself was very clean and well maintained. The showers only had lukewarm water at best. Bathroom were clean.

We had a great time. I was just wondering at times the water is extremely too hot coming out of the sink. There is no hot and cold.

Very nice campground. We stayed a #29. There was potable water very close to that site. We loved it.

This is a small, mostly wooded campground with large sites. Electric hookup was in good order and bathroom and showers were decently clean. There were two host sites but we never saw an actual host. One host site was an eyesore. There is only one dumpster and no pet waste stations. Noise travels. There was a noisy group of six and two had annoying hackles. There was no chance of communing peacefully in nature.

Arrival & departure
- Cedar Point may close due to hurricanes from July to September; check weather before arrival.
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per site.
Fires & fuel
- Do not move firewood; purchase it locally to prevent pest spread.
Site capacity
- Maximum stay is 14 consecutive nights; must leave for 16 days after.
- Tents and equipment must stay within designated sites to protect grass and ensure maintenance.
