Stayed 5 days. Most sites large mostly level. We had elect. Water not at sites, close enough if needed. Bath house old but cleaned, we did have hot showers. Camp host Gilbert and Rebecca very good job, they are very kind people. Dog friendly nice trail but pick after your pet. Our pups like hiking, don't give them a reason to ban our pets from trails. Great place to base for your adventure. Would be 5 star if they spend $ to update.

Great location for tent sites, nice restrooms, clean, and safe. There needs to be a lot of trees planted for privacy and so it feels less like a parking lot and to enhance the natural beauty of the area. The hosts and some other staff came around the loop too often. This made it feel like a freeway sometimes and we didn't feel like we had any privacy. More trees would also help there.

This is my favorite campground to stay at. It’s always clean , the host’s are friendly and helpful. It’s close to some very good fishing area’s that I go there for. I highly recommend this campground!

The sites were large and in fine shape. Quiet friendly campers. Host was seen busy maintaining the campground. Great access to nearby great hike. Recommend this to all.

This is a beautiful campground, and we have been there many times. There was an electrical problem at the post that was reported to the campground host. A response from her would certainly have been appreciated, but the next few days we heard nothing. No doubt it takes time to get these things done, so we left a note for the next camper and hope they found the electric in working order.
We will return again as it is a favorite with us.

Because of its proximity to the coast, Cedar Point is sometimes impacted by hurricanes and tropical storms and must be closed temporarily. These storms generally occur from July through September. It is always wise to check the weather forecast prior to your arrival, particularly during these months. |
