Very nice campground and not crowded in the forest. Few minutes drive from information center. No power sockets in the toilets for charging phones

This campground is great! Very clean. We got a last minute site on the river. The 2 rangers in the booth were extremely nice and helpful finding a site without a reservation. Thank you

Smokemount is a lovely campground with plenty of shade and large tidy sites. Wood and ice can be purchased at the stables. Much to my surprise as I was paying for my wood and ice I saw the list of camping supplies that you can buy. It is an actual camp store but out of site. You can even buy some basic food items instead of having to drive to town. The only improvement would be to clean the rest rooms thoroughly, not just the toilets but SWEEP the floor.

Beautiful setting and loved having hiking trails from the campground. My boys loved playing in the creek with other kids at the campground. Well maintained and bathrooms were exceptionally clean.

The tent pads are gravel and help the rain drain away from the tent. The only with this campground is that there are no showers.
