Always a good time going over to the Great Islands at Core banks. Stayed in cabin 11 and everything worked great. The Park Services staff was very friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to get back out there fishing again.

It's a special, remote experience. Saw so much wildlife.

Cabin 23 was adequate for our use. Only complaint was controlling the oven. No markings and a worn out knob made it hard to know temperature setting and when the oven was turned off. Mattresses we're better than expected; slept pretty comfortably.

Awesome place to be. The cabin was great and made it very comfortable for us without the hassle of setting up a tent. The young woman Ranger on duty May 14-16 is excellent. I can’t remember her name but she is always so cheerful and friendly.

Cabin was in good shape with noticeable improvements, such as new screen door and latches. It was great as the oven and stove top had been replaced recently. Oven didn't work great but did work if lit by hand.

Check-in, check-out, and bathhouse facilities were all good experience. Nice to see the new siding going up on the cabins. Cabin 20 was overall in good with a couple of exceptions (oven controls were worn and special attention was required to assure the oven was turned off and the battery pack for the hot water heater has a bad connection and had to be adjusted on several occasions to initiate operation.
Overall a good experience as usual and looking forward to our Fall 2023 return visit.
