Been going to this island for 35 years but things are changing fast. People are going that have no idea that it doesn't have amenities that they are use to and come to play with their 4x4s which are ruining the place that has been enjoyed for many years

There could be coat hooks added in the bathrooms. Seems like maintenance is barely kept up by the government. Thank goodness for DIFF.

If you like to fish, this the spot. Love the lack of any commercial presence.

Cabin 11 as expected. The new gas range was a great addition. Our neighbors ran their Honda generator 24/7. Love those Hondas. Last year using cabin 11, the Briggs and Straton could be heard at the ranger station, also running 24/7. The crew at check-in and check-out were professional and friendly.
A good trip. The registration process back in the winter really sux.

Had a great trip. The cabins we stayed in where all clean. The water was hot and the stove worked great. We also had a very good experience with the staff. Highly recommend a stay if you have never done it.

Fishing was outstanding. Not having access to the North Point was disappointing.

The beauty of the Island out weight the shortcomings of the facility. The staff were friendly and accomodating. We were there during the turtle hatching season and were able to rescue a baby turtle! Unforgettable experience.

We really enjoyed the quiet of the uncrowded beaches. Already planning to go back next summer. Adding a short hose to our cabin packing list since there is a spigot outside the cabin that we didn’t know about.
