Don't bother trying to book with a voucher here. We came to see it and liked the property but wanted to see it in the summer for the pool before buying. The voucher they gave can only be used 30 days out and everything I call, they are booked solid. There is no way to book with this voucher and see what its like in the summer. Don't waste your time. Its a scam.

We stayed at Sycamore Lodge RV Resort using our RPI membership after our Thousand Trails campground closed due to a historic ice and snow storm in North Carolina. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating during an unexpected change in plans.

The park is beautiful with tall pine trees and a peaceful lake that made for a lovely walk. The facilities are older but charming and functional. The bathrooms are dated, but clean and usable, and the laundry room was clean and fully operational.

Starlink struggled a bit due to the tree cover (expected), but still worked, and AT&T cell service was strong. Overall, this was a comfortable, quiet stop with a friendly atmosphere, and we’d happily stay again.

It's asking me to rate this as a hotel, when it simply isn't, it's a campground although they do have some cabins to rent. My parents purchased a membership whenever I was a child and upheld it since. To say that my childhood was spent here is accurate. I've watched it change and develop over the years. Recently I stayed overnight with my parents and my children. The stay was perfect, wasn't crowded seeing as it's the off season. I have stayed in the cabins before, it was very nice with a nice kitchen and very spacious porch. Although I do wish they would bring back an activity director.

Really nice, quiet campground. Check in was so easy and they guided us to our site. The large campground is fairly flat, most sites have plenty of space. They have a section near the lake that is very nicely landscaped around the sites and cabins. There is a general store, laundry, corn hole, horseshoes, mini golf. They have canoes and kayaks at the lake. All in a long leaf pine forest. Beautiful.

We were camping. Came in late and no paperwork for us. We had an emergency number to call which we did and were told to to wait 10 minutes before we could call someone else. We did that and then called them and you could tell he was a little miffed. We told him we had already called and waited 10 minutes. Let's not forget who the customer is. Then they took us to a campsite that was super tilted and uneven. There were plenty of campgrounds empty that they could've taken us to. It's like they picked the worst one. Did go in the next morning to complain and never even got an apology.
