Just a wonderful week getaway. The biggest surprise is that it’s only a little over an hour from our house. The 80’s night this past Saturday was so much fun. We love the walking and bike trail along the Yadkin river. The campground is really maintained beautifully and the management is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back soon.

As an artist, (BBK Leather Designs) I travel for work often. I tow my camper to all my art shows and sometimes fall into a beautiful place like this!

When you enter they meet you under a covered pavilion with a welcome bag that has a list of local food places and destinations, their food truck/weekend event info and, even had dog treats for my dog!

They back right up to a beautiful shaded trail along the Yadkin River and they have a dog park and playground right next door.

They have cornhole set up as well as a covered pavilion with picnic tables, that's also where they host the weekend events, a beautiful pond with a beach area, and bench swings around the lake too!

They will bring ice and firewood right to your campground and charge your card at the very end! That way you don't have to worry about taking money back and forth as you're at the campground!

The camping spots are wide and have beautiful green grass around them. The park is actually spotless! They also have laundry facilities and showers that are just as clean as the rest of the campground!

The staff was absolutely courteous, kind, and look like they really enjoy what they're doing! This is definitely one of my top five campgrounds ever!

Such a well-kept, beautifully landscaped campground that offers activities (music and food and beverage vendors) on Saturdays. A beautiful yet natural trail that's open and wide along the Yadkin River runs back behind the campground and has quick, easy access - wide enough for bikes. The site pads are level gravel (no concrete), and you'll have no trouble leveling. The wifi can be a bit difficult at times, but we were mostly satisfied. I think our biggest complaint is that you must keep dog fencing and firepit on the gravel, per campground rules. Some sites had more gravel than we did (Site 47, back-in), and we had to move our truck to over-flow parking so we could use the front of the site for our fire... To have the pit beside our camper and keep it on the gravel would have been too close and too hot for the camper. So maybe extending the gravel a bit on that site would be helpful. (Keeping our truck at over-flow parking was a little inconvenient, especially after our grocery trip.)

We enjoyed our week very much and found the campground restful and quiet. The people (staff and fellow campers) were extremely friendly. I refer friends to this campground because it's a prime example of how an rv campground should be operated. Such a special place!

Our stay at Riverwalk Campground was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—the gift bag waiting for us was such a thoughtful touch and set the tone for a great weekend.
The campsites themselves were level, making setup quick and easy. We loved exploring the walking trails; they were peaceful, well‑kept, and perfect for morning strolls. The beach area was another highlight—fun, relaxing, and a great spot to unwind. There were plenty of games and activities to keep everyone entertained!
Riverwalk Campground offered a fantastic blend of comfort, nature, and fun. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
