My main complaint is the air quality in these campgrounds. Everyone seems to need a campfire which they often will smolder come morning. Good air quality is a priority for my family, I wish people could learn to appreciate the same. Also, the night sky is one of the pleasures of this place! Enjoy!

The campground was nice and the bathrooms were clean. We loved being so close to the river and having our campsite beside a creek. It wasn’t overcrowded, which was great for solitude. The office manager and his wife were nice and friendly. All in all we had a great experience and will be back again.

North Mills River is a jewel. Well-run, clean, small, friendly... what else? Beautifully-situated. And my reserved campsite was raked (!) and tidied by the staff before I got there. Top-notch folks running a top-notch campground.

We absolutely loved it here!!! We reserved site 26 (FF) and then reserved site 22 online for the next night! Luckily they were close so it was easy to move from one to the other! We loved both sites! 26 was a bit more private and closer to water. 26 is a huge double site with lots of choices for set up. The camp host Paul was great! Very helpful and informative for campground and surrounding area and information/pointers. The grounds were immaculate and bathrooms kept very clean. Paul and his wife were constantly cleaning and riding around checking on things! We will definitely be back!!!
