River Pointe RV Park

Had a very nice week long stay at River Point. Site are nice and level, well equipped and even had heated faucets!! Private Baths were clean and maintained. Handy laundry too. Staff was excellent and very helpful!! Close to trails and all Morganton has to offer. I would definitely go back when in the area!

First stop on trip from Raleigh to Houston. This park has climbed to number one on my list. So quiet, beautiful place to see the stars. Friendly people. Immaculate bathrooms and showers. Communication was excellent and helpful. Tough to get a spot, so reserve early.

River Pointe RV Park has one of the cleanest bath houses I have been to, the grounds are tidy, and the park is quiet. And... the folks running the park are amazingly accommodating. Recommend.

Very well kept - clean and orderly. The restrooms / showers are clean and decorated very attractively. The spaces are closer than we would like and dog fences are not permitted, but it was also very quiet - no barking dogs. Guests picked up after their pets and everything was well maintained.

We were in town for an event and didn't spend much time at the site during the day, so I didn't take any pictures except those as we were leaving, but you can see the tidiness. Guests, even those for an extended period, aren't permitted to keep their sites in clutter. There isn't a camp store on site, but there appeared to be LP available for purchase.

Central point to lots of great hiking and off-roading. The hookups are well placed and the sewer is low for easy drainage. We appreciated the splitter and good water pressure. There is a bath house with laundry facilities and propane available, though we didn’t use those. As far as “camping” goes, the sites are well spaced, but it’s not somewhere where I would want to just hang out. The front, back and some of the middle rows are for longer stays. In essence it’s just a big lot facing the side of a hill or the street with RV hook-ups. Great for overnighting, but not scenic in any shape or form.
