Steel Creek Park Campground

We booked a creek side site this past weekend (Oct 24-26) and had a wonderful time. The campground was decorated for Halloween and there were activities throughout the day on Saturday.
When we first got there, one of the inner tires on my RV was low. The staff went out of their way to help get that tire pumped up. They also checked in with me to make sure we (and the tire) were okay.
I can’t wait to come back next Spring!

The staff are horrible. They stock you and watch everything you do. They tell lies about you also. The prices are too high for what it is. No activity for the teenagers or adults. The pool is way too small. You can smell pot all of the campground and nothing being said about it. The owner aren’t friendly at all unless you are good friends with them. The show favorites to curtain ones. They have no music at all.

My family and I have visited this campground with family and friends multiple times, and on each occasion we have experienced racial discrimination because of our skin color. This treatment is unacceptable, disturbing, and deeply disappointing. No one should feel unwelcome or targeted while trying to enjoy time with loved ones. Based on our experiences, I would not recommend this campground, especially to people of color, and I encourage others to consider going somewhere they will be treated with dignity and respect.

Beautiful campground tucked away in the mountains. Plenty of room to roam. Would certainly like more gravel on sites and a few more trees especially for the cost. Do not park on the grass sites without boards under you tires.

This place was absolutely awesome! Little crowded, but they had thier own on site general store, a ton of activity areas, and minutes from awesome hiking trails. And gated access to ensure security. Excellent camping spot.
