J&J's Getaway

It's a Good Day to have a Good Day at J&J's! This was my third time staying at this gem of a campground (and not my last). I enjoy gazing at the mountains topped off by the gentle babbling of the creek. Jessie and Jason go above and beyond to make sure your stay is a great experience. The campground and bathhouse are clean and well maintained. Their camp store is well stocked with essentials and treasures you will want to take home with you (check out the J&J swag). Several RV sites offer full hook ups which is a welcomed convenience. They are located about 20 minutes from Murphy, with plenty of shopping and restaurants.

2 of us were on a bikepacking trip and made this our stay night one and boy did we make the right decision. The campground is the perfect size, quiet, and very clean. The bathrooms offered excellent private clean up areas and very nice warm showers as well as a laundry area and a drying rack (which we used coming fresh out of an afternoon storm!). We were treated by the hosts as we embarrassingly asked for permission to sleep under the pavilion for the night but it was clear that it did not bother them nor any other campers. 10/10 will be back and cannot recommend this place enough!!!

It's my favorite campground, and I can't think of a better place to be. Nice property with a variety of trees and lots of beautiful grass to walk around and enjoy the views. Quiet and peaceful, the stars are brilliant, and you can see the Milky Way. Enjoy the sounds of the creek along every campsite.
Only a few miles to Hiawassee lake.
Very clean , you will not be disappointed.

Super nice campgroud!!! Quiet and peaceful. We were there for a special Halloween themed event and we had a blast! Friday they hosted a live band and had a BBQ buffet (for a fee) and Saturday was a potluck and costume contest.

The sites are big and have a nice fire ring. The bath house is so nice. The bathrooms have a private toilet, sink and shower.

We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to go back next season.

If you want to get away this is the place for you. Beautiful views, definitely will not be disappointed. The creek runs right behind the camp sites. So if you are in a tent or a camper you will definitely hear the sounds from the creek. The only down side I seen, it is definitely a ways from town, but other then that me and my family loved it.
