Oregon Inlet Campground is praised for its beautiful location and proximity to the beach, with clean facilities and friendly staff. Many visitors enjoyed the hot showers and overall cleanliness of the campground. However, some noted issues with small, closely spaced campsites, biting insects, and occasional flooding, particularly after heavy rain.

No trees and a little tight between campsites, beach is about a 100m walk. Not the best beach campsite, but overall decent.

Reservation site is very smooth.
(Even better would be to see the actual ‘unavailable’ dates in my request instead of the site just returning an overall ‘partial’ leaving me to make guesses to find out.)
Overall great site and easy to access and use especially from mobile. I like being able to slide up and down to see the map.
Can’t wait to get to back to OI!

Speaking about the north side of Oregon Inlet, would like to see it open for more beach access running south to the Inlet. It would also make fishing much better to be near the inlet. Thanks

We always spend our first night on OBX at this campground before moving into our rental house. Love going to sleep to ocean breezes and ocean waves.
