Great place to camp while on the Outer Banks. Right in the middle of everything, but feels remote.

I really like it there. A great experience and with my senior pass, I get it for half price. I had an electric and water site.

If you love the ocean and wind, this is an amazing campground. Roads are narrow and campsites and shorter but it's definitely worth it if you fit. No shade but that was great for me - I got full sun for my solar. And I was there end of March beginning of April so perfect spring weather 50s 60s. Absolutely would camp here again. There's a marina across the street with a gift shop and restaurant, dump station, potable water, gas, etc.

I’m usually more of a forest than a beach person because beaches are always overcrowded and Oregon Inlet was no different. I reserved 3 days but left a day early. It was so jam packed and the sites were so close together there was no privacy at all. The beach views are nice after climbing over the dunes, but this place was just too crowded for me. Good location and good price, I just prefer a little peace and privacy while camping and I didn’t find those things at Oregon Inlet.

We had an excellent spot (B18). It was near the bathroom and a beach access path. Stay on the paths to avoid stickers and cacti. Close enough to the northern OBX activities. T-Mobile cell service was good enough that we could watch a basketball game.

Overall the campground and the staff are good. However, during my stay two of three restrooms were closed for unknown reasons. This forced all campers to utilize one facility. In the morning, lines would form outside and delays were created. The campground was almost full so the other restrooms should have been available.

There were several large dangerous dogs near my campsite.pit bulls and other dangerous dogs should not be allowed in the national parks.one animal in the campsite next to mine was loose and rushed at me when I stepped out of my mh.the owner apologized but I am disabled and I could have easily fallen during the encounter.
