Sad that the showers were not up and running yet but other than that, nice place to stay, centrally located, level site. Can’t beat the $ for such a nice location. Volunteers at the office were pleasant. Would stay here again

Great natural beauty on the beach and away from OBX traffic. Staff was awesome with initial greeting when we arrived to resolving a water issue in just minutes after calling the office.

Host was extremely rude and on edge rushing the vehicle as we entered. Not sure why the military like intensely for a campground. I canceled my 2nd reservation and left paying the fee. Hes in the wrong job.

It's been years, but I still have to congratulate y'all on switching to a reservation system. Taking away the stress of "Sure hope we find a decent site" is very nice. My site was marked for me when I arrived. It was clean and clearly marked. The B Showers were closed for the winter (as noted on the web site), but the bathrooms were clean and in working order. I love this campground, I hope they will eventually add more water/ electricity sites.

Nice camp ground. We had one tent camper that blasted their music. Typical State park.
Other than that, it was a nice experience.

It is a nice campground, but I don’t understand why the bathhouse in Loop C was shut down when there were so many campers there. Unfortunately, I left early due to mechanical issues, unrelated to the campground.

We visited early in the year and found the campground to be peaceful and clean. The showers weren't open and only one restroom building open, that was completely expected. We did meet the ranger in the office to check in and found him very helpful and attentive.
Over-all the facility was clean, had paved roads, water and electrical hook-ups. It would be nice to have sewer hook-ups at some sites so one could avoid the trip across the road to dump. We traveled in a motor home. All in all, Oregon Inlet campground is a nice place to visit with a light house just down the road and the Beach just over the sand dunes. We will definitely return.
