I needed a location near Alligator River and this was a perfect quiet place, where I could also walk on the beach and listen to Killdeer.

I use the Oregon Inlet Campground as a base of operations for photography. I have a lifetime national parks pass, so my cost is less. I recommend them.

Always a great time at Oregon Inlet Campground. This was The Weekend after Christmas so the campground was not very full, the restrooms in B loop were not attended to the whole trip this time. Campers were respectful of the facility so it wasn’t awful but it was noticeable. Other than that everything was perfect.

The campground is crowded in summer but we went in December and it was nice. Plenty of open space. We do wish there was a TV cable connection but otherwise this is a great location, close to everything.

The biting bugs were terrible! They were so small they got in the tent screen.
The walk to the beach was tricky and had many goat heads along the path.
The beach was nice though, great water, clean beach.

I selected this campground because the website recreation.gov said that the showers in circle B were open. They were not.
Great campground, great location but not so great when you can’t shower.

Very clean, showers were nice- water was actually warm which I wasn't expecting, a little farther walk to the beach than I was expecting but overall a nice experience to tent camp. Not a ton of amenities like a big name campground might have but had all that we needed with a picnic table, grill, and spot to put the tent
