Arriving mid-evening on a hoiday weekend our site had an electrical problem. Our EMS detected it and broke the circuit to protect our rig. The next morning I reported the issue to the camp host. He provided a 50amp-to-30amp dogbone and advised that it is unusual for both 30amp and 50amp services to have a problem on the same pedestal. If that was the case he said he would do everything he could to move us to a site with working electrical hookups. The campground was booked solid. Moving us was going to entail calling no-shows to see if they were going to show up at all. After the holiday weekend he would contact an electrician. Except for the electrician, none of that was necessary because the dogbone worked like a charm. We had perfect 30amp service for our stay. Our camphost was awesome. He stayed cool, was not bothered that we had reached out for help, provided an immediate resolution, and had a plan should that resolution not work. 5-stars and a pat on the back to him.

It’s a nice campground. It’s neat and clean. It was quiet and convenient to many attractions in and around New Bern.

Only one toilet for the men to use, and it was out of toilet paper.

Great site, everything was well kept up. Kids loved biking on the paved loop around the campground.
