Nice campground. Very quiet and peaceful. Convenient to many places. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a decent campground. However, only one bathroom was open and the beach access was still closed. In summer, the closest good swimming option was Atlantic Beach. We considered New Bern's public pool/ splashpad too.
New Bern has nice restaurants, playgrounds, and a few fun shops. Poppy's Bites and Barrels and Morgan's Tavern are recommended.
One set of camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Campsites (and tent pads) were gravel with some large rocks.
Once beach access is restored, it will be a nice but small campground.

For all: We stayed at site 09. This is a great place! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again. No issues with the site, the amenities, the hosts, or the gates ;)

Nice and quiet forest setting. Couple of negatives are that the beach was closed and shower water pressure is poor.

This campground is a hidden gem. It’s quiet and yet convenient to stores, restaurants, and MCAS Cherry Point. There are sites large enough for big rigs, that are virtually level. The walking/biking trails are extra nice! We will be back

Campground is very clean and well kept. Most of all quiet and peaceful. Public areas (Restrooms and Bathhouse) very clean and well kept. I go to this campground all the time and look forward to my next visit.
