Nice camp ground. Great camp ground hosts. Sad to find out that the beach was closed, silly. They are worried about the cliffs, silly. Went over to Ft Macon and walked along drops that were certainly higher. More stupid government controls.

Please get the beach open ... even "at my own risk"

Nice campground next to the Neuse River. Plenty of services in the area if you need propane or groceries or whatever. Beautiful trails with varied levels of difficulty including paved which circles the campground and a more rugged path that goes by wonderful views of the river. Unfortunately at this time the beach area is closed with a huge fine if you try to go down there. Hopefully they’ll have it open soon. Otherwise the campground has a decent shower and bathroom area, electric and non-electric sites and is staffed by a nice couple who work hard keeping the campground well groomed and decent. Weekends can be noisy with lots of people especially Friday evening/night but during the week it is calm and peaceful.

Nice, clean small campground. The sites are nice. Restrooms very clean. Camp host very friendly. Great hiking/biking trails. The beach and picnic area are not open due to storm damage.

This is a smaller, mostly primitive campground. There is a selection of 50 amp electric only sites (no water on site, but potable water at the front & select spigots around the campground). We have a 30ft travel trailer. We enjoyed our stay despite the beach being closed due to hurricane damage and COVID. The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean with great water temperature and pressure. Short drive to outer banks beaches and within 10 minutes of a Walmart for supplies. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!
