We love this campground! We used to have a 5th wheel camper, but had to sell due to age and health problems. The Cozy Coleman was such a nice place to vacation. Everything was provided for a wonderful stay. The flowers and amenities were amazing! Thank you so much and if able, we will see you next year!

We really enjoyed our stay at MRFC a week before Helene came through in 2024. We liked it so much that we decided to return this year. We had a river front campsite and enjoyed the sound of flowing water. It is amazing how they have cleaned up and rebuilt almost everything! You would hardly know that the storm came through here. We had a great time and will plan on coming back again.

We had a great Memorial Day Weekend! The campground is super family/dog friendly with lovely hosts. There are riverside and mountain side sites. I would recommend mountain side with younger kids as the river has quite a current. The playground is close by and the best one at a campground in our experience. Site 10 would be best with young kids and site 50 for privacy and space. Would love to come back! Thank you and huge props for the hard work after Helene.

I would recommend Linville Caverns, Linville Vineyard and BanksCreekBarn. All within 15 minutes.

This campground is awesome. We stayed on a river site and love it. I can’t even believe the hard work that’s been done after the storm and how great this campground is. Thank you for letting us enjoy your little piece of heaven. We will definitely be back.

The campground is recovering very nicely from damage done by Hurricane Helene. The play area is great for kids and the common area will be gorgeous once complete. The RV sites along the river are beautiful! I love the little touches of flowers planted here and there throughout the sites. There is a lot of love put into this campground!

Warning for tent campers and the only reason I'm not rating this one a 5: The bathrooms and showers are very nice and well-maintained. However, there was no heat or hot water in them - which was rough on a cold weekend! So just come prepared!
