Great campground. Very well maintained and clean. Bathrooms very clean. The beach and ocean are a short walk over sand dunes. We would stay here again.

Ocracoke is one of the most special places on earth to sleep under the stars. The campground does a solid job of keeping up with everything.

Loved this campground. Very clean. Cold showers only. Just off the beach. Will return. No hookups but wasn’t expecting any. Water close by. Very well maintained.
Downtown was great.

Beautiful area, close to the beach, clean restroom, close to the quaint town, and perfect weather. What more could boon docking campers ask for? (I think asking for fewer mosquitos is not within the purview of the National Park Service...)

Ocracoke is my where my heart and soul and brain come to be replenished, renewed, restored.
I am so grateful to all the park staff and camp hosts for all that they do. When we had to evacuate for two days for Tropical Storm Ophelia, everyone made sure that we all knew when we needed to leave and when we could come back, and they were so gracious in doing that and in welcoming us when we returned.
If the whole world - and every organization in it - operated the way the Cape Hatteras National Seashore operates, we would live in a world of efficiency and kindness and love and concern for one another.
