Midway Campground Resort

Convenient to I-40. Shell station nearby. Friendly staff reasonable prices. Kid friendly but very suitable for older folk like us!

The spot was very tight and they put another camper right on top of us. The water in our spot did not work. When I told the owners about it they said to tap into the lot next to me and they would fix it in the morning. They never did fix it in four days we were there. The wifi is spotty, so I just used my Hotspot on my phone for internet. It is a smaller campground and the roads are a little bumpy. Overall we had an ok time, but if we were to stay again, we would pick a different spot.

Pool is very nice. Our pull thru site was not the nicest compared to the two next to it. Seems to have a lot of permanent that could do some maintenance on their areas.

It’s a nice place if you’re not planning on staying in a cabin. Ac unit was riddled with black mold. They told me I could check the other cabin instead. Same thing, black mold. You’d think they would address that seeing as there are reviews years back that say the same thing.

We stayed in a cabin that was down a slight hill which was difficult for my mom who walked with a cane. It rained for a good part of the weekend and the sidewalk was very slippery. Despite the rain our grandson had an awesome time in the rain on the bounce balloon, swimming pool and arcade with the friends he made. Bingo night was great! Everyone there was so friendly. Will definitely go back and recommend it to others.
