What Guests Are Saying
Bandits Roost campground offers beautiful lake views, clean and well-maintained facilities, and spacious sites, making it a popular choice for campers. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. However, some areas, including the bathhouses and fire pits, require updates and maintenance, and there are occasional issues with the entrance gate and site cleanliness between campers. Overall, it remains a beloved destination for many.

Our new hosts, both couples, are great. They care about everyone who enters and about the campground. We are looking forward to our next visit. One suggestion, if I may add. Everyone in the park would feel much safer at night if the entry gate were fixed.
Thank you for giving campers a chance to share our experience at Bandits Roost.

Nice spot, beautiful views of the lake, and very open. Keep in mind you can ONLY book online, and not pull and get a site from the ranger same day seemed inconvenient to me. I wanted a site, the place was fairly empty and I had to drive five miles to get online to book a site, just a waste of time.

We love camping at the lake, but the only thing I dislike is the bath houses are to small and need some attention. They were extremely nasty. We also seen a lot of camping spots that were empty but on line says taken. But the lake is our favorite place.

It’s a nice campground, but it needs to be kept up better. Poison oak everywhere and grass is not kept neat.

The on-site staff was excellent. But the bathrooms and general upkeep was very poor. The main bathroom shower does not drain properly, I was standing in the previous persons drain water when taking my shower., terrible. There is an obvious appearance that almost zero money is being spent for upkeep of this campground. I say this keeping in mind that the campground is full on weekends.
