What Guests Are Saying
Bandits Roost campground offers beautiful lake views, clean and well-maintained facilities, and spacious sites, making it a popular choice for campers. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. However, some areas, including the bathhouses and fire pits, require updates and maintenance, and there are occasional issues with the entrance gate and site cleanliness between campers. Overall, it remains a beloved destination for many.

Large camp site with plenty of room several canopies, tent, chairs and extra tables. Shared lakefront. Good for fishing but not for getting in & out kayaks. Great donut shop just down the main road outside of campground.

We stayed in site 50. It was a great location, in sight of the lake. It was mostly level, and everything worked but the placement of the water and electric hookups was very far forward from how we wanted to position our camper. Fortunately, I always fill my water tank and use my pump rather than the city water outlet so that was no issue. But our 20 ft cord just BARELY reached up to the electrical box. If you have a long rig or want to back up to the rear of the site, make sure you have a long cord. The fire ring and table position was a little awkward for me, but it wasn’t the end of the world. Didn’t use the bath house so can’t say anything about it. The campground was clean and quiet and it was great to relax. I would stay here again. In fact we are across the lake this coming week!

I sure wish that the gate coming in would get fixed!! I think it has been broken for a few years now. They say it electrical?? electricians are everywhere.

We have a 26ft Class C motor home. Easy pull through site. Views of lake in front and behind us. Had a fabulous view out the passenger side of RV until huge class a plus their truck pulling a big boat took up every inch of driveway they had. Then we were smothered on the drivers side by another class a pulling a boat and motorcycle. Then two more cars showed up. Oy! Glad we were only staying one night. Our site was level and a good size. Next time I would get the end site to not feel smothered when the campground is busy. No shade this end of the park. Good Verizon and TMobile signal. Clean campground. Did not use any of the facilities. Will continue to stay at Bandits Roost. Love this area.
