What Guests Are Saying
Bandits Roost campground offers beautiful lake views, clean and well-maintained facilities, and spacious sites, making it a popular choice for campers. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. However, some areas, including the bathhouses and fire pits, require updates and maintenance, and there are occasional issues with the entrance gate and site cleanliness between campers. Overall, it remains a beloved destination for many.

I really enjoyed this campground. The sites were large and the views were great. The roads in loop A were good with my 35’ fifth wheel. The only complaints I have were the sites were a bit unlevel. It took every block I had to level. Also, the sites on the hill have their fire pits behind the neighboring site. That made it a bit awkward for the neighbors. It could be fixed with some ingenuity on site 11.

This was our first COE campground and it did not disappoint. The campground is beautiful. We’ll definitely be back during summer and bring kayaks.

Bandits Roost campground was a great spot. Nice size wooded sites with full hookups. Beautiful location on the reservoir. Quiet, clean sites with fire ring and a large picnic table. Plus an extra large work table. Close to town for shops and restaurants as well as a nice history museum.Would go back again.
