Great campsite! Showers and flush toilets were a plus. The only drawback was the noise from I-94.

Helpful camp hosts! Parking for tent sites is pretty hilly so don’t try a rooftop tent there. WiFi is available right by the host but not otherwise.

The dump station was closed and there weren't any other campgrounds / dump stations nearby which was kind of a bummer and the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars.
The campground itself was calm, clean, and absolutely beautiful! Lots of wildlife around a great view from the top of the hill in the center of the campground. Camp host was friendly and helpful.

A lovely, quiet campground conveniently located near the Maah Daah Hey Trail and other hiking trails.

Our first time at Buffalo Gap. It was a nice campground. It's close to Medora and makes for a great place to camp and not be in all the hustle and bustle of Medora.

Large, level, paved site on the end. Great location. Limited Verizon coverage unless you climb to the top of the hill next to the site. Minimal highway noise at this site (blocked by the hill)

Love this campground. We like it better than the one at the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt NP. Decent bathrooms and nice wooded sites - a rarity in this area.

The host, Arlene, was very good.
However, the campground can use some attention. The dump station is inoperable, and bushes have been allowed to grow into the road, making passage and parking difficult.

Nice and quiet campground. Showers are large and clean with hot water. Stayed early June and there were plenty of sites open. Good spot to stay if you want to get away from the crowds in Medora. Not a bad drive to the NP.
