Limited bathrooms at the beginning of May. The site was nice. Plenty of room. I had nice views from my site. A ton of wildlife in and around the campground. Woke up to 3 bison in my site one morning.
The location of this site is great for the south loop. Close to the middle of the loop and easy to get to.

We had reservations for a certain site. But when we arrived on our appointed date, someone was there. We had to find another spot that wasn’t going to be reserved later. It worked ok the other spot was actually better. Park Ranger was very helpful.

It had locked restrooms across the campground. Notice was sent re: no water (potable or other), but no notice re: no toilets. In addition, the sites were misrepresented on the reservation information. No host or any information about the park was posted. Disappointed in how this park is resourced, but also aware that the NP system is not being funded by the current administration. The park employees deserve better support.
