What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek Camping at Berlin Lake is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean and spacious campsites, and friendly atmosphere, making it a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and families. However, many reviews highlight the need for renovations in the bathhouses and improvements in site management to enhance the overall experience. While some visitors enjoyed the lively environment, others noted that noise levels, particularly from motorboats and generators, could detract from relaxation.

Camping in the woods with lakefront access! Few campsites compare to the Oak lakefront camping. I don’t even have to fish to watch the bass in my private bay .

Extremely disappointed in Mill Creek. Took my family of 4 on Monday - Memorial Day weekend, intended to stay 3 nights. The park was in such bad condition that we never finished setting up, but rather packed our van up and drove back home. The sites with grass were totally overgrown. Some people were camping in knee deep grass, the place looked like it hadn't been mowed in a month. The few playgrounds were also overgrown, trails, and the swimming area upfront was all overgrown too. Our site was infested with black ants, they were crawling all over our vehicle and the kids within 10 minutes of being there. Nobody was working at the booth so we couldn't talk to someone. I lost $72 on this disaster of a campground. UPDATE: The camp called me after this review and refunded our trip. Much appreciated. Hopefully the camp gets cleaned up again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The kids loved playing on the playground and in the lake! Would have been nice if the grass had been mowed though.

Camped here for many years but this time the grass was taller than the children. Many campers were mowing their camp sites.

We enjoyed this campground a lot and can't wait to go back despite some issues that hopefully are resolved soon.
Pros: Beautiful! The lake is awesome! There is literally every type of spot in this campground you could want. Wooded, sunny, waterfront etc. The area we were in had some spots that were very muddy and slightly flooded but we lucked out in our spot with no standing water.
Well patroled by rangers and state police. Tons of things for kids to do. Mulitiple playgrounds. Woods, paved roads for scooters/bikes. Reasonably quiet even for a holiday weekend.
Cons: As expected for a holiday weekend it was extremely busy. All the bathrooms were filthy and out of toilet paper. The shower house was also disgusting. I would hope that this would be better on a regular weekend or weekday. The absolute biggest complaint was the UNMOWED GRASS! We are talking knee high grass here. Not just a little high. A camp host told me there was some kind of contract thing preventing it from getting mowed. That HAS to be taken care of. I am not certain I would return to a grassy spot unless I knew this was resolved. Challenging to get a tent set up correctly in that high of grass.

My only complaint was the grass had not been cut. It was very hard to do anything in the area that was grassy. Otherwise, everything was good. We really enjoy coming to Millcreek, we love the size of the sites and the lake, being as we have a boat.
