What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek Camping at Berlin Lake is praised for its beautiful scenery, clean and spacious campsites, and friendly atmosphere, making it a great place for outdoor enthusiasts and families. However, many reviews highlight the need for renovations in the bathhouses and improvements in site management to enhance the overall experience. While some visitors enjoyed the lively environment, others noted that noise levels, particularly from motorboats and generators, could detract from relaxation.

Grass was not cut - it was a minimum of 1 foot high. Half of the campsite was a muddy swamp. The firepit was damaged. Generator (from neighboring campsite) was running all day even during quiet hours. Mosquitos everywhere. Poison ivy everywhere. Bathrooms were dirty. Only gave 2 stars (instead of 1) because the lady at the check-in booth was friendly. Save yourself from a muddy mini vacation and stay somewhere else (Lake Milton perhaps?).

Grass needed cut, gravel needed added to parking pad. Lots of mud. Bathrooms and bathhouse need updated.

We have been camping at Berlin for yrs and have never seen it so BAD
Not sure what is going on at campground the grass was not mowed for a week that we were there and have friends there now 6/4 and grass has still not been cut, bathrooms not clean
This is really a shame never seen it so bad
The office said they hired a new company??? They need to fire them and hire someone that can do the job
I hope they don’t let this beautiful place go downhill and more
We have more reservations there but will cancel it it doesn’t get cleaned up

The park is in a very degrading condition due in large part to lack of care/maintenance. The grass in the entire park was closing in on "field" type. The restrooms were uncleaned, lacked hand washing soap and toilet paper. But thanks to decent weather in NE Ohio that week, my first camping trip out was pleasurable. However I will be sticking to state parks and Muskingum Watershed parks the rest of the summer.
