We stayed in site 5. It was beautiful, perfectly shaded for the morning sun and evening sun. However, we have a 37’ travel trailer and it was nearly impossible to back into our spot. It was uniquely on a curve, with a huge tree on the left making it very hard to back in. A few fellow campers assisted and we ended up having to drive through grass to get it parked. We will be back, but not to site 5 with the size camper we have.

We reserved a camp site on line a week in advance. When we arrived there was someone set up camping in a reserved site. Fortunately a ranger was driving by when we arrived and he directed us another open site. This could have been a huge issue had the camp ground been full or the other site would have been less desirable.

We love camping here. Just wish you wouldn't limit the amount of days we can stay

Two of the three shower rooms did not have hot water for showers. Several vehicles drove way too fast through the campground making it unsafe for younger children to ride a bike. Or even walk a dog.

Our trip to Oakhill Campground was very nice. We love site 23….there is so much room at the site and our dog has a 50 foot cable with the ability to roam the entire site. We also love the quiet and the isolation. We have four more trips planned this camping season!
