An absolutely beautiful campground! The camp hosts were amazingly sweet and helpful and even remembered me when I came back through to stay the second time. The facilities were clean and well kept, the sites were perfect for what I needed. The lake was very peacefull and perfect for paddle boarding with my dog. There are lots of hiking trails including a paved trail to a cool rock overhang. I wish this campsite was closer because I would go every weekend if I could.

Need to have activities for kids. Playground would be nice and craft activities on the weekends. Also beach access road needs to be fixed and opened!

The campground host John and Pauline was OUTSTANDING!
I had trouble with my camper and they BOTH jumped right in and gave me a hand.
They were also EXCELLENT with my 80 year old parents that were camping this past weekend too.
Definitely recommend!,

Beautiful experience, our second visit to Wayne Forest! We just bought our first camper getting ready for retirement and will return for sure! Loved our sites, clean peaceful quiet lots of hiking, the dam and beautiful boardwalk around the lake was peaceful, went fishing on our first trip also enjoyed all the hills, trees and having coffee in the mornings listening to the birds and turkeys! Our host were very friendly & helpful. A five star in our little book of places we are visiting! Nature at its best!!!
