Luckily I read ALL of the rules & regulations. Staff very friendly & I appreciate our reservation was easily canceled. I have no issue with each park setting their own rules BUT if they have an unusual rule, it needs to be front & center on their web page. I would not have wasted your staff's time if I had known of this rule. This park does not qualify as a normal pet friendly park. Even though while making the reservation, we said we had a dog & said we would not be disconnecting as it was a quick in & out stay, we were not made aware of their unusual pet policy. Only after printing reservation for my files & scanning all of the rules, way at the end, it states you are not allowed to walk your dog in this park. You had to drive the dog to a near by park! Again, lucky I saw this as it would have been a BIG problem for us if we learned of this on arrival. Very odd to have a campground not allowing dogs to go for a walk.

We purchased our first travel trailer in 2021 and spent that summer exploring campgrounds across Ohio, staying somewhere new almost every weekend. During that time, we discovered Maple Lakes and enjoyed it so much that we returned three times that first season. My family and I quickly made friends and unanimously agreed that this was the perfect place to become our “home away from home.”

In 2022, we made the decision to go seasonal, and we have been happy campers here ever since. The staff is outstanding, the grounds and restrooms are always well maintained, the ponds are stocked, the heated pool is awesome, and the location is ideal. There are fun events every weekend, a strong sense of community, and—most importantly—it is a safe place for our kids to play. The owners clearly take pride in the property, and it shows in every detail.

Over the past four summers, we’ve built lasting friendships and created countless family memories here. I also want to mention the pet policy: while I noticed some negative reviews regarding dog walking, I personally appreciate the rule. The dog park is a perfect place to walk and exercise pets, and keeps the grounds enjoyable for everyone.

I was a seasonal camper, and it was pretty miserable for me because of the drunken cliques who partied way passed quite time, & some of whom were extremely belligerent & obnoxious, cussing at me & the young disabled girl who lives with me, calling us both the C word (among many other foul words) in front of many people. The management has in writing that these behaviors are against the rules however it seemed there were no consequences. Even when I complained that the neighbor guy whom they were friendly with, & part of the clique, urinated in his yard in view of my window. Pot smoking was extreme enough that we would routinely have to close our windows because it smelled so strong. I actually paid for some of the entertainment and events, $1000s of dollars of my own money, just to be nice to the other campers, and there were some kind campers who loved it & showed appreciation. I very much appreciated them. I later, through a volunteer basis, in which I take no compensation, booked the entertainment for the park. Many of the artists, very accomplished and talented, would receive rude comments from the youth from the obnoxious group which also added to my opinion of not a friendly classy place. Overall while my experience was bad, they do keep up the place well and have beautiful sunsets.

This was a great place to stop. Beautiful grounds. The pool looked nice but we were too late. Site was nicely level and has nice white gravel on it. Staff was very helpful for our last min and later night stay.

What a perfect place to stay during our journey to the northeast. This campground is protected behind a gate, the grounds are beautiful and the service was excellent. When we arrived, we fully expected to climb out and ring the bell to open the gate, but it opened and we proceeded in. Check in was a breeze, the gentleman was very friendly and helpful and true to his humorous comment, we feel like we really did have the best place in the house! :) The site was level, the power was clean, and the water pressure was excellent. What struck us most was how well kept the grounds and frankly, all the occupied camp sites were. Despite lots of long term residents here, the staff obviously runs a tight ship because it was just tidy and well kept. We loved that.

If you're looking for a longer term stay or just an overnighter on your travels, you've come to the right place. We thoroughly enjoyed our short overnight stay. This place was great!
