What Guests Are Saying
Osage Cove offers a beautiful camping experience on Kaw Lake, with clean campsites, well-maintained restrooms, and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the scenic views, access to fishing, and well-kept hiking trails. However, some concerns include the need for more water hookups, issues with loose dogs, and inconsistency in campground management, particularly regarding noise regulations. Overall, it remains a favored destination for families and campers seeking a pleasant outdoor experience.

It was OK. Just wished they had water at the sites. Water hoses were running through our camp site

Our RV spot was at such an angle that we were not able to level our RV; therefore, we could not put out our bedroom slide or use our stove. This made the 3 days less enjoyable. My husband is too tall to sleep on the dinette bed, so we had to pad the floor for him to have a sleeping space. Our site details also stated that we had water. Our site and the sites around us had to run very long hoses (which we did not have) to 1 spigot. We were all joining each otherβs hoses to have enough length to fill our tanks. It was quite the ordeal. Our reservation details said that we had water...it did not say that we all shared one spigot. Other campers also said they thought their site had water hookups according to their reservation documents. Other than these issues, we had a wonderful time.

Work was being done somewhere in park and there was no power. We thought it was a problem at our site, or us. There SHOULD HAVE BEEN SIGN AT ENTRANCE OF POWER OUT, OR HOST SHOULD HAVE CAME AROUND. We flagged down a contracted mower to ask about it, they in turn went to the host who finally came to let us know the power might be back on in a couple or three hours. Site 15 needs some work. But the park was close and easy to get to from our route.

Excited to see some more sites getting their own water hook up. Sites clean for the campers. No trash.
