Bath/shower are well maintained. the area was in good shape even with recent storms. I did find that site 2 had a open neutral at the outlet pedestal on the 30amp outlet.

Great camp sight but the bathroom either flushed all the time or not at all then got locked so only 1 bathroom for the all the paying campers but the outside non paying people showering felt a little unsafe

Sandy park is a hidden gem of a campsite. Lots of things to love: 5 min drive to the marina, shaded sites with plenty of space, clean and nice bathhouse, smaller and not overly crowded. We had an excellent experience camping here after our original Osage reservations were canceled. Even though the flooding kept us from boating, we made the most of a fun and relaxing weekend.

The picnic table was busted up more than anything needs replaced or repaired. Grass was high needs mowed. The bathrooms were disgusting never cleaned. The north bathroom doesn’t lock. Nice camping area if they maintain it.
