Osage Cove

This trip was our third time at Osage Cove this year. We really like the campground in spite of having no water hookup and only 30 amp electric. My T-Mobile phone service is only available near the dump station and along the main road, and at a few sites near the water.

When we left, we were unable to dump our waste tanks because the dump station was plugged up.

The bathrooms are in dire need of an upgrade. I’ve been camping here since the mid 90’s and these are the original facilities. Please upgrade!!

Volunteer was very nice, easy maneuvering into sites. Definitely needs more clearing around campsites and toward the water. Also need more water spigots.

There was dogs coming into are site barking at us. Showers had no hot water Went to the front gate several times and each time they said they were unaware. Restrooms were not cleaned the septic water was coming up through the drain in the floor. I told people at gate but nothing was done. We camp here pretty much every summer I like it but it seams its going down hill fast. The swim beaches was closed due to the virus so because of that we had people constantly walking through our site to go swimming. Most of the people walking through our site had DOGS they would bark at us 1 came up and urinated on our cooler owner didn't even apologize. We told the owner of the pit bull and he said that's going to smell and laughed . When they was swimming the dog came back and barked at us. people was doing there dishes at the restroom water spigot. People was drinking late at night with loud music and hollering. If this happens again next year then it will be the last time we stay there. Not a very good Vacation this year.

There were too few sites that can accomadate todays RVs. We could not get into the site we booked but were lucky to find one that was FF. After leveling we needed another 2' of step to get in and out of our 35' motorhome.
