We were the FIRST occupant of one of the brand new replacement sites, new level concrete, new sod, new covered table, all right on the lake bluff. Also loved the in-place grill unit and the in-place stand for a black stone style cooker (which we used). I could see where middle of the summer the wind could be awful, as the exposure to south wind is bad, we were there in April. Super friendly gate attendant and park staff.

The site we chose was good, little un level but we used our blocks to level the trailer up, we loved our views of the lake, it was not a far walk down to the beach

Tough to get into this park. Fhu were nice. Lots of shade. The only negative is that it appears people are allowed longer than their 14 days here. With such a short season (April 1 through September 29) it’s not terribly fair to others who want to use the park. All of the sites around us showed booked the entire time we were there. Several sites had rv’s parked and were not visited the entire time we were there. Other sites remained vacant although they showed booked online. So, if you know someone, you can have a summer home there to visit whenever you please. A great deal if you have a senior pass at just $14 per day.

Lots of room, shade, and free dump station. Very close to the beach.
