Burns Run West

Totally enjoyed the atmosphere though camped solo it was great. If I had brought children a bit far to playground depending on what section you are in. Next time I'm opting for C as its has lots of shade and full hookup. Wasn't a big deal in section B with water/electric like stated flying solo. The bathrooms need a bit of TLC in upgrades but they looked clean

This was such a fun camping spot!! Right next to the water, and the bathrooms aren’t far away either!! Beautiful scenery as well. The only downside was the water temp of the showers, it’s quite hot so be careful.

We love West Burns. I have been camping there since I was a kid and now have continued that with my son. We will definitely be back year after year. Its my happy place, and now my son's as well.

The campsite was very clean . Enjoyed 2 of the beaches at West burns run The restroom with the showers were nice and clean. I would say my experience with the the attendance at the gate ( Betty) she was very professional but also very sweet lady until the day we left was a very satisfying experience!! Thank you

Another camper was in our reserved spot and the gate manager did nothing about it

The park was really nice. As people began showing up, the water pressure was low. The first couple of days it was great but coming in to Friday and Saturday, there was very little water pressure and using the dump station was challenging with little water. All in all we enjoyed the stay!

Close to water and beautiful. They could take a little better care of the showers and bathrooms.

We love coming here as our whole group can book together and have a big space with lots of trees where all the kids can play. We love the beach area so you can play in the water and have a good shore to fish off. It is nice to get up and walk down the shoreline.

We arrived to find someone in our spot and the gate attendant knew that. We talked to the occupant and he said he had no one to move home. we have requested refund four times now and the “par facility manager” according to recreation. gov was in charge of that. we are still waiting. NEVER leave this park if you are waiting for them to take action!!

We always enjoy our stay at Lake Texoma. During our stay this time, while we were packing up the mowers showed up and start mowing right at our campsite. They were throwing hard debri at my camper and vehicles which was not ok. I do understand that it has to be mowed but there has to be another way to make it safe and not destroy others property.
