Burns Run West

Very nice park. Lots of space between sites, beautiful views on lakeside sites. We had a pull thru site. We were on way home and stopped just for 1 night, but decided to stay another since it was so nice. Would go there for a destination trip if it wasn’t so far away for us (about 500 mi)

Beautiful Park! The water source at some of the sites is so far away from the site that you will need extra water hoses.

Site 39D beautiful. Loved the site. Staff were helpful. Swim area very nice.
Bathroom was as disgusting 🤢. Avoid at all cost!

Love C02 very shaded. We will return.

I didn't realize the check in wasn't until 6pm when i made the reservations! We were only 5 hours away, hot and humid day so no parking somewhere while we waited all day long to check in so we just kept going towards our next stop. It turned into a TEN hour day because of this! Reviews said hosts would not allow early check in even if the site was empty. Very disappointing .

Beautiful campground

We love the beach area at West Burns Run.

Plenty of room at C12. We love the full concrete pad. Lots of shade is an added bonus.

I loved it! Genuinely friendly staff, beautiful views, private, safe. I will be back😊.

We were in E-11
1) Absolutely no shade. The most miserable camp spot and camping I have ever experienced. I have been happily camping at West Burns for 3 years until now.
2) Power went out and remained out for almost 24 hours. Once circuit replaced it went out again.
Called maintenance a 2nd time and 2nd circuit replaced. We were forced to sleep in our RV without AC and we lost all of our food and drinks. We were told that the extreme heat
contributed to the outage.
Maintenance person informative, and pleasant.
The young couple at the booth were not helpful and didn't offer any encouraging words. The guy barely looked up from his phone.
I have always made it a point to get to know the folks at the gate as I bring my grands as a solo female. Other than this couple, I always felt like they were helpful and wanted our camping experience to be the best ever. They have even recommend sites based on my wants and needs.
So please encourage your staff to talk to the people who come thru those gates and to get out and check sites. Everyone else does.
I also had the misfortune of camping in E-1 when
the beehive was active. I am allergic to bees and think people need to be informed of those things before renting spaces. I was terrified but fortunately we were able to move the next day. But it was alot of work.
