What Guests Are Saying
Belle Starr Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and friendly staff, making it a top choice for campers. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake views, and spacious pull-through sites, with ample wildlife to observe. Some concerns include limited restroom availability during off-peak months and the presence of stickers in the area, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

Stay was nice . I got my departure date wrong, while getting boat on trailer the gate attendant came up to me an started screaming, he was so mad he was spitting while yelling at me, I tried to apologize but he was out of control , he said he reserved it for his coming in, well I talked to the lady an she moved the person to another spot an we paid for another night an I was out by 9 am the next morning. The old man needs to learn how to control his temper , a little anger management, I’m a retired Marine I don’t care for people to get in my face, people at the boat dock came over an ask what was wrong with the guy!

Staff and Rangers very helpful and courteous. Views were great. Availability of handicap spots was great, While crowded on week-ends, it was fairly peaceful. Plenty of deer and other wildlife to see. Enjoyed the stay.

This is a very nice park. We were in C42. It is a pull-through site that more than accommodated out truck and 22-foot camper. It had great shade and was level side-to-side but had a bit of front-to-back incline requiring the trailer jack to lower the front of the camper quite a bit. The water is shared with another site. I had enough hoses to fill my freshwater tank but not to connect to the city water connection. We observed a terrific sunset while there. The restrooms could have used some attention.
Dobber's Restaurant south-east of Eufaula was a big hit. Their food was exceptional, and Taylor was a super waitress.
We will camp here again.
